Default Need Advice please

Hi all,
I have a 2002 TA with a 6 speed running stock gears. I had a pinion bearing come apart and got it replaced. Now rear end howls at 50 and 70 MPH. I brought it back to the shop and was told it was the nature of the beast and they could do nothing about it. After reading storys on this forum I believe that to be true. Should I take it to a rear end shop and see if they can correct it or am stuck with the whine.

a good shop would not have let the car go until it was correct but that is just my opinion. if everything is correct it should not whine.

You can see if they will try to get it corrected but if you did not replace the gear set, I think it will remain that way.

Thanks guys. I got the shop to bring it to a local driveline shop to evaluate it. If they say it is what it is I'll deal with it till I can get the 9"
