Default Spooled 12 Bolt whine..

Iv got a Strange 12 Bolt, Spooled..and at first it was Great. Quite loved it. It was like riding in a stock car with 500 miles. Now it sounds just like my old 10 bolt that was coming apart. Iv changed the rearend fluid 3 or 4 times. It has been in about 6 months and not too many street miles but its getting more and more. I know Iv beat the hell out of it but I love driving the car just cant stand how loud it screams. Would I have any luck if I had someone restet the gears or just buy a new ring and pinion? Iv heard once they whine..they always do unless you change gears..

It's prolly the pinion bearings because a 12bolt isnt much different than a 10 bolt as far as how they go together and those bearings get the brunt of the abuse. 9" or S60 wouldve been better for the M6. I've beat the living hell out of my 9" and it stayed quiet.

yup, time for new gears. the TA puts all the stress on the pumpkin and a 12 doesn't have the strenght in that area the other two options have.

gear whine sucks...
