I bought an LS1 with a 4L60E attached out of a 2001 trans am, the TransAm had the ws6 package...........and that's all i know, the car is gone and I need to know what gears the car may have had so when I stick the LS1 in my jeep that has 3.73 gears, i will be close for the test drive.

I know it's a long shot but does the trans am with the ws6 package come with certain gears?

If the gears are stock, all automatic 4L60E WS6/SS cars came with the performance axle (3.23).

and it would be highly unlikely to have 2:73............i agree it would posibly have 3:23
