I have a local Guy that can build up the rear end and does damn good work. But I don't want to give up my TC and ABS. And neither him nor I know what is involved with doing it.
Im going to get a 9 inch from the junkyard x and start from there

I installed 9" /4.10/locker/"TC/ABS" couple of weeks ago
you may buy the correct axle ends to fit your OE backing plates, and be sure and order the correct axel to fit what ever third member you are useing
/ correct leight/spline, get the axles to use your OE exciter rings or order the axles with the new rings
it may be cheeper/less timelt to order " the houseing/axle PKG" for about 1 k DIRECT FROM mos.. or call Bob
