Default best rear end option for daily drive.

Ok, here is the deal. The bearings in my stock 10 bolt are going bad. I want to use the car as a daily drive vehicle. Should I get my 10 bolt fixed or upgrade to something stronger? Slp lts with high flow cats and slp loudmouth 2 exhaust. Not looking to do any major mods. Thanks!

Manual 6 speed with stock gears. I like to have fun but I don't like to beat on the car. Just not sure if it would be worth it for an upgrade to something stronger for the rear.

Depending on what you want to do with the vehicle it sounds like the S60 might be your best band for the buck. We can get you into one of those or we can get you into one of our fabricated rear ends and use a billet clutch posi and the car will feel like still with the added advantage of a better torque arm and room to grow if you ever need to.

It sounds like you are a good candidate for a Moser 9 inch rear with a Trac-Loc. Here is a link to it. http://shop.brutespeed.com/Moser-9-I...c-Truetrac.htm
Give me a call and I can go over the options with you. Moser rears ship out in just two days.

If it's only a daily driver just fix the 10bolt. why spend 3000.00 dollars on a rear end that your not even going to use to it's potential?

That's kind of what I was thinking. I want to be able to still drive into work and up on highways and stuff and not kill my mpg and spend a load of money for something that I don't really need.

6 speed with 3.42s'. pick up a used good complete rearend from a 98-02 6speed (in matching channel of course,3 channel is ABS only,4 channel is ABS & Traction Control).Drop it in and then rebuild yours and have it as a spare. 6 speeds are known to break rears.
Sometimes they're available for as little as $100,just gotta watch the classifieds in these car forums for finding one local to you.
