what is a good posi??
im in the market for a new diff in my truck does any one have any recomendations on what to get and what not to get? my truck is going to be used for street strip use, light towing, and probably not any off road. i was thinking about getting the EATON G80. could anyone give me any input on it. anything would help. thanks.

ladies man, if you have a z71 im pretty sure you have a posi already.
Some factory truck come already with the eaton g80. I would think the z71's do as well.
If you are in the market for a posi, Eaton is probably going to be a pretty good choice.

well, I was looking for a better alternative than the G80 for a locking diff.
Then, there's the T2 diff's, that are made for the 8.5" 10 bolts..... wonder how they wold work.... Hummers use Torsen diff's too, so they must work decent..
