Street Car - 4.30 Gear
I have a 94 Formula 355 h/c mods in sig and full suspension. Im looking at picking up a new rear for use at the track. I dont go to the track that much maybe 1-2 outings a season. Its basicly a street car but i know when i cam up next year ill at 400rwhp and dont want to break it and my 10 bolt now is fubar'd but liveable. Im currently running 4.10s and like it but find it hard with the cam as it doesnt like cruising at the 1000-1200rpm in 6th cause of the cam. Its not bad and im sure with the 4.30 gear it will help that out but i have hard enough time hooking up on street tires i dont want it to be useless on the street. When i run to the track i have a set of 26X11.5X16 ET Streets i use. Will i run into an issue hitting the limiter or opposite? I shift at 6-6100rpm.
Thanks

with 26" tire @6100 rpm @4.30 gear without going into Over Drive should be about 109-110 mph about mid 12's +/- ( note this is staying out of OD)

My car has 4:30's and a mild engine. With 28X11.0-16 Hoosier's I hit the shift light (6200 RPM) just before the traps at 110 MPH. Saturday I made four passes, worst MPH was 110.07 best was 110.73. So that about all it's got
