Default Gear issues?

So I have a set of 3.73's i want to put i my 01' T/A. Its an M6 with bolt ons and a tune. Estimating rwhp around 330. Well I want to know how well the ten bolt will hold up to the 3.73's? I hit the track about once a week in the summer and un street slicks. Other then that the car is on street tires and gets driven about twice a week. So will the 10 bolt hold up to the 3.73's? even with the racing and street slicks?

I had 373's in my Z28, when the rear finally gave I borrowed a friends 342 rear end until I got my replacement. There is NO noticable difference to speak of between 342 and 373 gears. Complete and total waste of money, you will be highly disappointed for the money spent. If your going to swap out the 342's go to a 390 or 410. If your running street slicks like a drag radial, id stay away from the 410's on an m6. Teeth on the gear are just too small and weak for to handle the shock from an m6.

I went from 342's to 373's in my car, it was a decent difference, but honestly I wish 390's were easier to find when I swapped. 411's are too much to me even on an M6. And to answer your question about the 10 bolt holding up to the 373's, the 10 bolt didnt even hold up to my 342's. Some people have good luck, most dont
