Question Strange 3.73's Humming??

I just had 3.73 gears installed in a '95 Lt1 Camaro with a stock stage 2 carrier at a local speed shop and the gears are producing a high pitched wine. (Faster speed-Higher Humm) Is this normal with new gears and my decrease or could there be a big problem??

The whine is from a bad installation.Either the gears are setup wrong or a bad bearing.Have it fixed ASAP or you risk wrecking the gears.

Okay, i called a buddy of mine who's a Mechanic, and he said that they shouldnt whine @ all... I called the shop that did my gears, and they said put a few more miles on them, and if they still whine they have to reset the Pinion.
