Default Saving For Moser 9".Which gears?

I am saving up for a moser 9" and was wondering if I should stay with the 3:73 or 3:89 gear. I was thinking 3:89 to make up for the heavier rear. I have a 10 bolt in now with 3:73s and Automatic with 3K stall. Just wondering if the extra weight from the rear would even matter. I like the feel of the 3:73s now, but it with a lighter rear

For a 9 inch your options are 3.70 or 3.82 no 3.73. I don't think there is a need to change the gear ratio to compensate for the minor weight increase of the a aftermarket rear.

I agree, you won't notice the difference. Bob

I havnt even got that far to even thank about a cam yet, but one day i would like a mild cam. I looked at the gear options for brute speed 9" rears and it had 3.75 and 3.89. It seems the best option is to go with 3.75 since i wont tell the difference. I think im going to get the wavetrac diff with it. Is anyone running with the wavetrac, if so how is it.
