Default Rear End Fluid change

gonna do a fluid change in the rear, can u get a gasket at any parts store for a 10bolt? its a 98 ss camaro. i would like to get redline 80w140, does that need the gm additive in it?? is that a good weight oil or should i just get the stock weight? the rear is noisy as hell and crying like a baby at low speed turns. Thanks

the p/n for the gasket is RDS 55072 (fel-pro). the redline oil is fine, you should include the posi additive. sounds like it may be on its way out though...

Do you guys have the part number for the additive? I have a 12bolt...do I need the additive? Can I get it at any popular auto store?
