Default Where to find good gear install instructions

I've got a 99 trans am (10bolt,7.5"?)and I'm changing the gears I need good instructions if anyone knows. Thanks

Setting up gears correctly is as much a skill as it is following instructions. Here ya go.

Thanks. Would I be better off paying to have it done? What are the chances of someone who has never done it before getting it done right?

I saw them do mine and they had to use a press and some machinery for the (yolk bearing i think). If you have access to that then i would do it. Just take your time though and make sure its all alighned. Got charged 250 If you need a comparison.

That's not a lot of money. If you can afford it, pay them. At least if something goes wrong, you can blame them! If you do it yourself, you'll be SOL!

My advise would be to pay someone to do it. Maybe you could watch them and get an idea so that next time you could try it? It is a little more involded than you think to get them installed correctly without noise.
