Default Fuel Economy with new gears (3.42 up)

What kind of MPG do you guys get with your 3.42 and up rear ends? Is there a big difference? Just curious because I'm thinking of buying a 3.42 or a 3.73 and wanna know the MPG difference.

My 02 is bone stock 6 speed with 3.42's. The EPA seems to think that the car can get 21mpg in the city and 28mpg on the highway. Take note: I have never seen this kind of gas mileage!!! What gears do you currently have?

I have 3.73 in my a4 Camaro. I get about 19 mpg with city and highway driving together.

went from a 2.73 to a 3.42 in Z. With the 2.73 gears it averaged around 300miles per tank. Now, with 3.42s, think im gettin round 260 miles per tank. Filling up when the guages light comes on.
