So I got my new gears installed last weekend and have about 200 miles on them so far, and found a leak coming from the cover. Is it ok to drain/change the oil and put a new cover on before the 500 mile recommended interval? The gears are Motive blue box dont make any noises so I think they are fine.

Won't hurt a bit to change the oil out sooner than 500 miles. More the merrier when it comes to maintenance.
