Default Quicksperformance 9 inch leak passenger side ?

I didn't buy the inner seals for the 9 inch I'm not bashing the 9 inch I love it just wondering if I could fix or slow leak without cutting bearing off and buying new on could I just jack it up high on that side so fluid goes to other end and pull axel and just put alot of black rtv aroun the bearing and put her back in and run it would that work or any suggestions?

You can put RTV around the perimeter of the seal where it meet the housing end but not where it meets the axle shaft.

Have You checked the vent for proper operation?

Yea it vents purpose I was talking on the outside of the bearing right on the inside of the axel cuz right at the end I can see it leaking from bottom but the axe spins so wouldn't rtv be a waste on the outside ?

Hmmm, my QP 9" axles came with seals. If you're gonna go through the trouble to pull an axle, why not do both and put the seals in? Can't be more than $10 or so...

Huh? Why would you need to remove the center? The seals go in the axle ends ahead (inside) of the bearings. It's 4 bolts per axle, not much of a job at all...

O I thought they were out on the inside of the housing where the axle goes through not on the actual axle
