c-clip eliminators???
I know everyone says DO NOT put a single red cent into our "shitty" 10 bolts, but let's say one HAD TO keep theirs for either (road, NOT drag racing) race class rules, or economic reasons right now.
Now that the above is established, does anyone still make (or did they ever) c clip eliminators for the 7.5" 10 bolts?
If so, can they be used with stock rear brakes/backing plates/emergency brakes??
Any problems associated with these?
Thanks in advance,
Dave H.

Don't know about the brakes, but a phone call will tell the tale.

Yes, but without having to buy new axles, as I already have the strongest 10 bolt axles Moser offered in it.
If they. or no one else offer a setup for the stock 10 bolt and brakes/backing plates/e brake, then I will just replace the bearings and seals and call it a day
I was trying to avoid having to open the pumpkin just to replace seals and/or axle bearings in the future, if possible.
But THANK YOU anyway, and I will call them tomorrow.

Just in case anyone else ever was thinking of c clip eliminators on a 10 bolt;
I spoke with Strange today, and they told me that they do NOT make these for our 7.625 10 bolts, only for the 8.2 10 bolts, and of course the 12 bolts, etc.
Oh well, I will just throw some SKF bearings and seals, and new c-clips at it and call it a day.
I was thinking about the Seals It axle seals (so I don't ever have to worry about the seals leaking again, and making me fail the privatized Gestapo Pennsytuckey inspection again next year ), but it seems unlikely they make them for these 10 bolts either.
