my experience with wavetrac
First of all, let me say this difficult has been tough! I have many many MANY 7000rpm clutch dumps on it before it gave way. It didn't even leave me stranded. I could still drive home. I also bought it second hand and from what I understand the diff was being an lsx 427 car.
I was rerecently stationed in San Diego which is close to where the wavetrac warranty office is. So i drove it up there. The customer service is AWESOME. Gave me a tour of the shop and covered it 100% with a 2 day turn around.
For what it's worth I'm cutting 1.3x -1.4x 60s all day. Low 10 seconds passes.

I hate to bring up a semi old post but Iv been thinking of upgrading to a wavetrac. I have a Locker right now, and in a 6 speed car it just sucks. How much power are you making. I was recommended the locker with close to 800rwhp but this was before the wavetrac was out.

The OP cutting 1.3-1.4 60' with 7000 rpm launches behind a 6-speed is extremely impressive and brutal on any diff unit..

I agree with the Midwest man himself. You guys make an awesome rear It's been great! I can't put in words how hard iv been on the diff, I would not Hesitate to use it again, which is what I've decided to do. I still drive the
car quite a bit on the street.
Fwiw I also had the older unit. The newer ones are much stronger from what they tell me. Even with beating the hell out of it, it's operation on the street was flawless.
