First rear build, ford 9" - input is greatly appreciated.

Summit Racing case (PEM), motive 3.70, aluminum pinion support, Yukon/Timken bearing kit.

This is backlash at 9-10 thou

One shim under pinion support, which is I am guessing .015-.020 (digital calipers battery died).

Can this be run safely? if not any ideas which way to go?

The pattern looks okay to me, maybe a tad to deep account of the sharp line towards the root. If it were mine I'd try a thicker pinion support shim to see what it looked like, otherwise like I said it looks okay.
