Default Can someone post a pic of the PST FORGED slip yoke

I had the dreaded cam 798 yoke on my PST drive shaft I purchased in 08. Didn't run it much and the stock shortblock went down. Got the new setup going and after a lot of changes wound up needing to send the driveshaft back to PST for slight shortening and had them install what was suppose to be a forged yoke. Got it back and honestly it didn't look forged at all to me, but wasn't a cam 798 piece either. I've made several passes with it over the last couple seasons but I am just skeptical and don't wanna risk it.

Be careful of the info you get here...

The forged yoke PST was using over the last couple years did look like a cast unit, but was indeed a machined forging. The base T56/4L60 yoke was the "CAM798" which is the one that had twist issues on the higher powered cars.

PST is now using a different yoke on the upgrade that looks more like a full machined billet piece. MWC is actually using a slightly different yoke on our upgrades that is the same or better quality.

That sure looks like the forged yoke that PST was using until this newer style they have now.

There's nothing wrong with that one, you shouldn't have any problems with it. Bob

You're welcome. I sold of lot of PST driveshafts with that forged yoke you have, before they switched to the yoke they're using now. I've never had anyone have a problem with one that I know of. Bob
