Gears
Looking into gears. I have an M6 stock 10 bolt ...and i'm not looking to put an 12-bolt anytime soon...How much will 3:73's help my time?? I know that 4:10 are horrible on a 10bolt. So if 3:73 are the way to go...how much am i looking at spending including install and gears and how much will it inprove my time. THX!

200$-300$ for a "thick gear" if you have a series 2 carrier. 100$ + for an installation kit of your choice (bearings etc...), and what ever your local shop charges to put it in. Also the "thick gear" has been on back order from just about every company that makes them since May. That is how long I have been waiting anyway. They keep telling me two weeks out every month I call?? Still no gears. I need them bad with my new cam also.
I also hear allot that you may want to start saving up for a 12 bolt with an M6, cause once you start dumping that clutch and hook up your ten bolt won't last long and you will have at least 500$ tied up into it. Just my opinion.
