Default Modifying a 12-bolt/8.8" to fit

Has anyone here modified a rear to fit the F-bodies themselves? I am thinking of getting a 8.8" and fabricating the torque arm mount and shock mounts to fit. What all has to be added/modified for the brakes to work? Also, pics would be appreciated if anyone has them of what needs to be changed. Thanks for any help.

I was thinking about it, but than you would have to run a ford bolt pattern correct?

Yeah, but that isn't that big of a deal, especially if you sold your old 15"s and need new ones anyway.
