Default Junkyards - Which Rear Ends Will Work?

Which year and what make/model has the best 9" or 12 Bolt to use for a 94 M6 Formula.

Thanks Guys.

From what I was told...skip the junkyard route because it would be just as expensive...if not moreso than buying one specifically made for our cars. If someone has info otherwise...I'd love to hear it.

Nothing else uses a torque arm suspension, so there's no way you're going to find a 12 or 9" that will bolt right in from any boneyard car.

Let the Pro's weld the proper fitments together. Buy a Strange, SLP, or Moser. They have all the jigs to weld them up and make everything fit perfectly....Sometimes, you've just got to step up and spend the $$.... WJ

Best way to save money would be a 9". The other guys are right, you will need to buy the housing, torque arm mount, and axles from Moser or Strange. The reason a 9" is better is you can just bolt in a wrecking yard pumpkin, gear set, and posi. With a 12 bolt you will need to set up the gears for the new housing.
