Default Clunking noise

I have A4 98 Z28 w/113K miles, everytime when I put the car into drive or reverse it makse a clunking noise and pulls really hard depending what gear I am in. I replaced the rear U-Joint and the front U-joint looks fine. Does anyone have an idea what it could be?
thanks

With that many miles I would have to say it's time for a rebearing. Also see if you find something going bad inside of the axle that would cause the extra slop in the rear.
