I Tried Hitting It With A Hammer

dude it is sealed in there with plastic just take it to a shop and have them deal with it.

heat the yoke around where the u-joint cap is, keep heating until the nylon flows out completely from the hole in the yoke. then tap them out with a hammer. i just used a torch, it took a little while but they came out.
