Default Help Rearend advice needed

I recently had my ring and pinion replaced by GM under warranty and after 1500 miles it started to make all kinds of noise. I took it back to the dealer and they pulled it appart again and they said the housing is warped. Needless to say i need a whole new rear end. Since GM doesnt make the fully assembeled rearend the dealer has to get all the parts an rebuild one. The service department asked if i wanted to get a 12 bolt put in my car for a minimal fee. They recomended to get a moser rear, they also said that if anything goes wrong in the future that i wont be covered under warranty with the 12 bolt. The car is a daily driiver and I plan on keeping the car and getting a GTO in 2006. I take the car to the track about 12 times a year and have basic mods (look below) car runs 13.2s at 109 with 2.28 60 foots. I drive pretty hard on the street. Should i go with the 12 bolt or should i stay with the stock 10 bolt and keep it under warranty. If the 12 bolt is the way to go Moser or Strange?? Thanks for the help.

Dry roads to all

Sounds like they are warped, get them to replace the gear again. Dealersand axles just don't mix.

Get the 12 bolt and don't look back. That is an awesome deal - I don't think you need to worry about the 12 bolt breaking again, even if it did Moser probably has their own warranty system.
