Default 4:10s or 4:30's

im going to be swapping out the 3:73s that are currently in the rearend. im not sure in i should go with the 4.10s or 4.30s? i made peak power at 6400, my shift light is at 6700 so i should be in gear at 6900. im using 26" tires.

thanks

I'd go 4.30s... I have 4.11s right now, with my shift light popping on at 6400, and shifting around 6700 or so, and I still need more gear. If you're shifting at 6900, then you need gear even more than I do...

For instance, I'm launching at over 6500 rpms, and my car still has some bog about 30' out of the hole. I'm fairly certain a 4.30 gear would be just about perfect for me, so that's what I'm switching to as soon as I can get the money together for it.
