with my mods and my 3.42 gear I got just over 23MPg on the highway. Any idea what a 4.10 will do to that?

Probably mess it up pretty good. I had a set of 4.10's in my 98 Mustang, and it went from 24 mpg to about 20 mpg. But hey, you do have another gear.

I got 22.5 MPG coming back to St. Louis from Springfield, MO. That was with the cam, heavy clutch, and 4.10's. We were in the Ozarks for part of the ride, and cruising in the upper 80's for part of the trip. There was a thread about this topic in this forum about 2 months ago.

I knocked down a solid 23MPG in my LT1 6speed with a dual friction clutch and 4.10s cruising at about 75 to and from school.

with my 6 speed i got 25-26 mpg over thousands of miles of logging on the highway. i got 26-28 mpg with teh stock gear.
