What is better for a stock rear end? I need some help finding the right gears for a manual 6 speed (7.5). Is there a way you can make a rear end stronger?? Looking for best all purpose gears... "Highway/Drag"

Messing with the gears increases the odds that you'll break the rear.
There is nothing worth the $$ that improves a stock rear's strength.
3.90s are not an option for a stock rear.
As for 3.73 or 4.10s, you need to decide what speed range you want to maximize performance in. Then see which gear & rear ratio will hit red line at the top of your range.
For drag racing 4.10s are a good choice.

the easiest way to make the 7.5 stronger is to get a rearend girdle w/ stud kit.
i have broken a set of 4.10s on street tires (without the girdle),... that is one of the several reasons that i don't trust the 10 bolt much at all.

I was looking into getting a set of 4.10s, with a 12 bolt sometime in the future. But my question is if the 10 bolt will hold up to the power that I plan to put to it? 400 rwhp. Who has the best 12 bolt, with the least amount of b/s to install?
