Default Quietest gears revisited

I am finally sick of the gear whine from my moser 12-bolt with 4:10's. I had a shop reset the gears about a year ago after I ran them for about 800 miles. They quieted down a little after the shop reset them as they where not set up right from Moser, But they are still loud enough to be annoying. I'm looking for the quietest gears available. I know that any gear will whine if not set up right, but I eliminated that factor with the shop I go to. The Car is 100% street so I am willing to give up a little strength for quietness. I was looking at the richmonds and the Motives. Any Suggestions?

REM finished Motives adds about 150 bucks to the ring and pinion price but might quiet them down a little

Its a tumble finish process the gears look like chrome when this is completed. It basically removes surface imperfections caused by MFG lowers operating temps and reduces the break in cycle if you order a set just say REM finish and they'll know what your talking about

I think its mostly in the setup.

Rem polishing strengthens and greaty smooths the gears finnish.. they are a bit quieter... I think there is still some damage from the first setup on your current set.

Junk yard OEM's are quite. You can call Moser and ask what to look for ( late 60's and early 70's Chevy/GMC pickup maybe ?).

I'm convinced that the setup makes all the difference in the world, But when I specifically asked, I was also told by the sponser that I bought the 12 bolt from that it would not whine. So much for that! The shop that I went to, to reset the gears said that he put in a set of Richmond street gears and they where quiet. But that was in a 9 inch rearend. I think 12-bolts are inherently louder than the 9 inch. I would hate to spend the money to replace the gears I have and have the new gears whine too. Does any one know what gears Moser puts in their rearends?
