power / time loss from Steel Driveshaft
- my bro needed to upgrade to a steel driveshaft, which is about 23 lbs when he installed a moser 12 bolt 33 spline, compared to the stock aluminum driveshaft which is i think 9 lbs. on his M6 02 SS and it recently got dynoed at 422RWHP, since this is a large increase in rotational weight how much power and time do u think is being lost running on bf goodrich kd's. have any of you been forced to make the same change in shafts.

It may slow your shifting as it will add rotational inertia to the main shaft, but come on now........ that is beyond splitting hairs.
I think your losses will be negligible. So how about 0.025.......
