Question on rear-end housing

Question on rear-end housing Are all rear-end HOUSINGS the same? The only thing different is the carriers right? by the way Im talkin 10-bolt wise. Cuz I have a 3-carrier and have been offered one which had a 2-carrier. All I have to do is swith out the carriers right. I have no TCS (duh nvm i stateted I have a 3, lol). thanks for any help
