Default how much would labor be......

to have my stock rear end rebuilt? I think that my limited slip is shot with 75,000 miles. I was looking at purchasing an eaton diff and having a local shop do the labor with new clutches and everything. Anybody have any idea around how much that usually costs?

It shouldn't cost ya too much. You can usually buy a good used complete rear in the for sale section for $300-$400.

Most shops charge by the hour. Anywhere from $50-$100 an hour. Call around for price and warranty on the labor.

I had the rear end of my 68 Camaro rebuilt, I but in the bearings and seals. I bought a Posi Differential to replace my open carrier and took it to a shop to have the gears set. It cost me $150 for the labor to have it set up.
