00 Z28 M6...How many possible gears? hey fellas, i just picked up a whole rear out of a 00 M6 Z28. I pretty sure it has 3.42's, but is there any other possible choices. Mine sounds like ***, and i may just keep the 3.42's and take out the 3.73's.
Next question.....would i see much of a decrease or difference between the 3.42's and 3.73's, thanks guys

All M6 CARS CAME WITH 3:42 GEARS FROM FACTORY.
THERE IS NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE IN ACCELERATION FROM 3:42s TO 3:73s WITH AN M6 CAR. IN MY OPINION 3:73s ARE NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR THE HASSLE OF INSTALLATION.

Fantastic guys, i was pretty sure it was 3.42s but thanks so much. it is an A4 though. I have the 3.73's in my car now, but i may just put the whole new rear in 3.42's and all. I love the acceleration of my 3.73's but i dont know if the 3.42's will hurt me
