Default lt1 rear end in ls1

will it go right in? my buddy has a spare laying around and i want to make sure it will fit before i go to the track on my new MT DR's

You will have to swap your backing plates, after that I believe they are the same.

I just did the same swap! You have to remove c-clips and pull axles out. Then swap backing plates. And make sure you use your LS1 axles when you put them back in. DO NOT USE THE LT1 AXLES!! i tried using the LT1 axles and for some reason my wheels wouldn't fit on them flush! Swapped them out with the LS1 axles and works like a dream! Good luck!

I did an LS1 into anLT1 rearend swap. Everything should bolt up depending which type of ABS you have. Like they said before, the only part off the old rearend you should have to use is the backing plates
