Default beaten to death but....

I know this has been beat to death but I just installed new cam and heads in my car and it is making around 435/400 at the tires. Rev limiter at 6800 and I do drive the car every other day around town to class with an occasional trip back home of 120 round trip.
I have the stock 3.42's now, should I switch to 3.73 or 4.10?Kind of difficult taking off in first with the spec 3 as it doesn't like to slip much. Car is very limited in traction now and with a hard 1-2 shift will loose traction completly. I am concerned that 4.10's will kill the 28 mpg I get on the highway and might be an over gear.
Car pretty much used on the street as well.

I'd go with the 4.10's. Gas mileage in town may actually get better, as you can usually drive around in the next higher gear. Traction may not get any worse, as the gear puts you into your horsepower quicker and out of the torque range of the engine. Bob

i would go with the 4.10s as well. i have 3.89s and i have less traction than i did with 3.42s but you can always drop her to second and nail it.
