When you go like 5 mph orless you hear a loud clank from the rear or the drive shaft. what can it be?

friend checked the u joint...its not the u joint

I'm having the same problem I think! On decceleration, with out without brakes and in neutral or in gear with clutch in. It makes a dunk dunk dunk kinda sound.... pretty much kind of like it sounds when you are at low rpm's in too high of a gear and it bucks.. it's that sound. You can hear it by manually turning the driveshaft by hand and it seems to be in the rear... but I just got brand new gears+install kit done and it was doing it even before that. What the hell is going on?
