Default 3.90s? Perfect gear or no?

Well my 4.10s are howling like a bitch and on their last leg so Im in the market for new gears. I was looking around and saw that Motive has started making 3.90s for the 7.5". These seem like they could be the perfect gear. More pickup than 3.73s, better gas mileage than 4.10s, less teeth so maybe stronger than 4.10s, etc. Are these as ideal as they seem or are there issues I have missed? Thanks guys!

I changed my 4.10 to 3.90 in my old school, there was hardly any difference. Maybe 200 - 300 rpm on the road.

I love the 3.90's in my 12 bolt. I like them because they are not quite as extreme as a 4.10, but still make you run through the gears quickly.

Wow thats cool 3.90s, I would of gone 3.90s if I knew they existed. But then again I have no complaints on the 3.73s rite now. I can still shift pretty fast thru the gears. **** before I know it Im constantly in 5th round town now.!
