Who uses Ratech carrier shims?

Who uses Ratech carrier shims? Does it bother you that the outside diameter of these are smaller than the stock shims?
Seems like even if you install the thickest one on the ring gear side, the torque pushing against it might push it partially through the housing and open the backlash up. Maybe even to the point of gear breakage.
Anyone use this brand with good results?
