Default changing rearends

i have a strange 12 bolt w/ 373s and my buddy wants to change rearends and give me $1k for it. He has the 10 bolt w/ 373 and a spool. i have a4 and he probably needs it more than i do becuz he has the m6. I save in weight maybe a lil' quicker from what i heard. Should i trade. What do you guys think.

1500.00 and I would trade. You could easily sell that rear for 1800.00 and then buy a 10 bolt rear for 200.00 with limited slip.

FYI: You can blow your rear with an A4. What are you running? I my rear a little over a week ago with <40 passes at the track (~6 at current level) and daily driver duty.

I would make him put on at least a rear end cover if you're going to trade. A4s are soft on the rears, but they are still 10 bolts!
