Default Will my 10 Bolt last?

I just got my bogarts mounted and Im dying to take my car to the track again. I still have the stock 10 bolt and I'm afraid with the new M/T ET streets 275/50/15 it will break the next time I go to the track. I won't have enough money for a 12 bolt until probably August and I dont want to wait that long. I also dont want my car sitting until august either. What I want to know is if it will hold for a couple more runs. My goal is to break into the 11s. I'm probably gona baby it off the line and foot brake at around 2 grand. Let me know what you all think.

Car has 47,000 miles

ehh...might hurt something might not, should be ok for awhile. I've gone 1.43 on those tires with a full 225 shot less than 5' out. I do have a girdle and axles though.

It should only take about 3 runs

I think you will be ok with the 3:23 gears still in there, I didnt break my first ten bolt until I softened up the front end with QA1's and a kmember, i ran 4:10's for over a year too . good luck

Still on my stock 10 bolt. Got about 25 passes on Nitto Drags with 2.73s. I'm switching to 3.42s and the E.T. Streets in a couple of weeks so we'll see how she holds up.

Oh yeah I think you'll be fine

If you don't plan on buying a 12 bolt for a while you might want to get a girdle, some strong gears and aftermarket axles. That, or buy someones used 10 bolt in the for sale section to have as a "spare" rear =)

I have at least 500 total passes on my stock rear with the stock 3.23 and 3.73 gears most of my 60ft times are in the low 1.5s. Call me lucky I guess.
Now in my 6sp car the rear lasted about 30 passes before the spider gears went out.

I only plan on making about 5-20 passes before I get a 12 bolt.

I think you'll be just fine as long as you don't go crazy at the line. You've got an A4 so I wouldn't be sweating it.
