from 2.73 to 3.73...what do I need?? Right now I have stock 2.73 gears...I'm wanting 3.73...I have heard that I can't use the stock carrier..is this true?? If so what do I need to get the 3.73's in? Also...soon I will be getting a 383 stroker kit with a few other add-ons.....what is a good brand to go with for around 400hp....??...thanks

you can use the stock carrier, some people on here go and get a 3 series carrier instead of just buying the thicker 2 series carrier gears. you can do either and be fine, im gonna be doing gears and a converter here this summer and i will prolly get a 3 series carrier just b/c the stock 2 series one has almost 100k on it.
