Default are torsens rebuildable?

I have a torsen that has a bent case and aother one with messed up gears. can I take the good gears and put them in the good housing?

Are you familiar with setting up the gear lash ??

If you are, I'd say go for it. If not, I am sure you could be walked thru it with relative ease.

yeah 10 bolt ring and pinion gears are a cake walk I do them with my buddy in about 2 hours however I meant the intenal planetary gears.

Yeah. Thats what I am talking about..... the lash associated with the planetary assemblies.

To correctly set one up, and concurrently make it live, the internal planetary gears have a very small window of lash that they will operate with (and live). Another thing to watch is the gear end play, as it is another variable that has to scrutinized for correct operation and longevity.
