Default Quick ring size identafing question

long story short the stock rear end on the '00 Camaro ran dry so i took off the cover (which was replaced by a chrome one) and i get it all surface preped to put it back on. But i notice that on the ring it had some numbers and then a space and then 41.15 at the very end. dose that mean it has 41 teeth and could mean it's a 4.10 ring deal going on back there?

i bought the car thinking it was a somewhat virgin (lol that sounds funny) but i never started pokin into it until now, it has a steal shaft in it...and then the rear end cover deal going on and i'm wondering if the people before me changed the gears out for 4.10's

sorry for the long ramble!! thanks in advance to you all!

41/15 = 2.73? Does the RPO code on the door say GU2? Steel driveshaft seems to support 2.73's also. Can't always go by the GU codes, mine came with 2.73, steel DS and has a 3.42 rear out of a M6 car in it.

Some cars came from the factory with steel shafts.

Go to www.f-body.org/gears/ write down the 70 MPH RPM's for 2.73 and 4.10, then go for a ride and compare it to yours.
