Theres a big debate wether or not the 10bolt will last very long with aftermarket gears such as 4.10's especially with an m6 i want some 4.10's for my m6 but im saving for a 12 bolt. I say 12bolt it.

well i was told by a friend that i could get new gears (im think im leaninng toward 373's) and getting a spool which would help to save the 10 bolt? he tried to explain what a spool would do but i wasnt really listening, will it really help?

also where can i pick up a good set of gears which brand?
and will i need an install package or what just the gears?(i would probably have my friend or his dad do the work but i would wanna get everythiung he is going to need b/4 install)

3.73's are not worth your time. Go 4.10's or don't bother.

Read the stickies for feedback about whether or not working with the 10 bolt makes sense.
