I am not sure if you are asking how to check the ratio but if you are.... just count the ring gear teeth and divide by the pinion teeth. I think it will be 41 and 10 teeth. My 3.73:1 gear is 41/11 teeth.

One time the dealer tried to void my warranty by accusing me of swapping my gears when they worked on the rear end a few years ago. The mechanic and his supervisor just read off some numbers stamped on the ring gear, which did not indicate any gear ratio in any way. Finally someone knew what he was doing and shut his supervisor up by counting the gear teeth. I never forget how to find out a gear ratio since then.

From my expirence most gears sets have some sort of a stamp on the ring gear that says the ratio. If they don't count the ring gear teeth and divide by the pinion teeth; that will give you the ratio.
