Default Driveshaft for 9 inch Moser in 94 F body

Does the driveshaft length remain the same when installing a 9 inch in and F-body? I have a 3 1/2" aluminum with 1350 u joints that I would like to use, but it is one inch shorter then the stock aluminum one I have.

Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the driveshaft length remains the same. I don't think I would use your 3.5" one though if it is one inch shorter than stock. Bob

It is probably because you have the rear unloaded. Put the car on the ground, or jack the rear up, and then the stock driveshaft should fit. Bob
