Well. I have an M6 and everytime I start with some force there's a popping/crunching noise in the back end. Does this sound like that crummy 10-bolt is letting me know it's time for an upgrade?

If so, where can I find a cheap 9" or even just a 12-bolt?

Hmm. That's a good suggestion. I'll look into it.

I would check your u-joints too but if the problem is not there, it is a good idea to pull off the cover to see if there is any metal pices just laying around or pits in the bearings.

Alright. I have my first off day from work tomorrow. I'll see if I can look at it then.
