Default Dropping a driveshaft off a 1350 U-joint on a Moser Rear-Best tool?

What's the best tool to get on those bolts? If I remember from the last time I did it, they were 9/16" or 1/2" and I cranked on them with an open ended wrench for about a day and half before I got them off. I got a craftsman ratcheting wrench but the top of the head was too tall and I couldn't actually get on the bolt. I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop the shaft to pull the trans out pretty soon and the right tool if it exists could save me a ton of headaches.

9/16" box wrench works for me. I have also used a gear wrench. Just need to rotate the shaft so it fits.

Thanks Steve - I was hoping to find a gear wrench that I could get on there instead of using a box wrench. I just couldn't seem to get the craftsman one around the bolt head, but I'll definitely try it again this time
