Default How hard to swap 9" backing plates?

I bought a 9" rear for my camaro but it has drums on it. How hard would it be to switch my backing plates for a 2002 LS1 Camaro.

Does your car still have ABS and or traction control?

Basically you need a new set of bearings to replace the ones you pressed offwhen swapping out the backing plates. But you may be opening whole can of worms with the axles being too short to accomodate the disk brake conversion or if you have traction control. Which then would require new axles with provisions for the reluctor rings.
