Broke my friggin rear
I knew it was bound to happen eventually. I went to the track tonight, did a nice burnout, pulled up to the line, staged the car, and as soon as I hit the gas BOOM!! I broke the ring gear.....**** I guess I'd better start saving for a 9". I beat the crap out of my 10 bolt for 4 years without any problems.....until tonight.

I never wanted to spend the money on the 12 bolt so I never replaced it. If you lasted 4 years on the stock 10 why not just slap new gears in it and call it good. You have to take in consideration that you do have an auto. It just depends on how much you want to spend.

People....
If you plan on getting traction...and launching your cars hard... you need to replace that rear no matter what...
if you dont plan on running sticky tires and dont really care for traction... run the 10 bolt all you want
